Kelsey Kerr, LPC-Associate under the Supervision of Jeremy Pierce (LPC-S)
Hello there!
Allow me to introduce myself..
My therapeutic approach is based on the belief that people have within themselves the capacity for change and growth. I believe all individuals are unique therefore I aim to provide a variety of unique options regarding your mental healthcare.
I provide non-traditional counseling by taking the talking outdoors as well as office based and telehealth counseling options. Together, we will physically and emotionally take steps towards accomplishing your goals though outdoor therapy, such walk and talk or adventure therapy . We will curiously explore how you see the world, strive towards understanding, and address areas of emotional pain. Although the counseling relationship is collaborative, I believe you have the ultimate power for change. I aim to empower you to recognize and utilize your abilities to navigate that journey.
I specialize in trauma informed resilience and life-navigation skill development in youth and young adults. I also work with individuals of all ages and mental health concerns. I have experience in working with a variety of concerns including: trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adjustment to life circumstances, anxiety, depression, and other emotional and social difficulties. I am qualified to provide counseling to pre-teens, adolescents, and adults of all ages.
I view the counseling relationship as a collaborative relationship, with the client having the ultimate power for change. I treat my clients as equals and strive to provide a nonjudgemental, empathetic, and trusting environment. I integrate a variety of appropriate techniques to empower clients on their journey of self-exploration, healing, and growth. I am welcoming future clients to cultivate their tomorrow.

When I am not working, I am usually creating memories with my husband and those I love! I enjoy traveling, the outdoors, and spending time with my horses and dogs ( a Labrador Retriever, Mae, and an Idaho Shag, Deets.) I also enjoy downtime, such as drinking coffee while reading a good book or listening to a podcast
